direction / conceptualisation
In 2011 Leo moved into the realm of developing animation and live action ideas; short films, music video clips as well as developing an animated tv series pitch. He has spent much time writing his own film ideas, as well as directing smaller projects such as music videos and conceptual pitches.
In 2003 Leo sidestepped from camera department into visual effects. Leo is accomplished as an all-round vfx generalist, knowledgable about 3d, and 2d compositing, though his focus has been mainly with animation in the 3d department.
From 2008 until 2010 Leo worked for Passion Pictures Australia, a small offshoot of Passion Pictures UK.
From 2003 until 2008 Leo worked for Rising Sun Pictures in Adelaide, South Australia on numerous films.

Working primarily under the title of ‘clapper loader’ or ‘second assistant – camera’, loading film, clapping slates, assembling cameras, and carrying lots of camera cases.
